The mamoncilla or mammon It is a seasonal fruit, which is enjoyed in Venezuela or Nicaragua (and also in other countries), especially in the hottest months of the year, usually between March and August.
The tree from which this fruit is obtained can reach 30 meters in height, and its months of optimal production is at the end of the year, especially in the months of June and August.
It is a semi-acid fruit with a round appearance and generally of small size, which grows in clusters. Its shell is smooth, green, which tends to protect its delicious seed wrapped in turn by a translucent, yellowish pulp, and very sweet taste.
